Invested Faith Advisor, Board Chair 2024

Rev. Kevin Kim Wright is an ordained United Methodist Elder with over fifteen years of experience working in entrepreneurial roles that advance the work of justice in this world. He earned his Master of Divinity at Duke University Divinity School and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Wright is currently the Chief of Staff at The Point Foundation, which seeks to build community and springboard a new generation of LGBTQ leaders toward success. Point does this through scholarship funding, mentorship, leadership development, and community service training, and is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit.

Invested Faith Advisor

Invested Faith Advisor Jane Campbell is the first and to date the only woman to serve as Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio. She now serves as the President and CEO of the U.S. Capitol Historical Society, the congressionally chartered nonprofit dedicated to sharing the stories of the people, art, and architecture of the U.S. Capitol.

Campbell’s public service career includes serving as the first woman Mayor of Cleveland, five years as county commissioner for Ohio’s largest county, six terms in the Ohio House of Representatives and a term on the Regional Transit Authority Board.

Invested Faith Advisor

Christian Peele is a theologically-trained organizational strategist whose leadership is shaped by the faith-based conviction that the world can be made whole.

Peele has held senior roles in the public, private, and non-profit sectors in some of the most complex organizations in the world. She has worked in the White House twice. Most recently, she was Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Management and Administration for President Biden, leading personnel strategy. Her work led to historic advances in diversity and inclusion, including the onboard of the most diverse White House staff in history. Prior to that, she held two posts in the Obama White House, including having been the Administration’s first African American Deputy Director for White House Operations.

Vision

Dr. Amy Butler believes deeply that courageous communities of people who live with tenacious love can change the world. The founder of Invested Faith, Dr. Butler is excited about the possibility of the Invested Faith model.

“People of faith need an organization with a fund that marries social innovation with the resources of America’s religious institutions to close the gap between them and invest in the well-being of our neighbors, to rebuild communities, to do the work of the gospel in the world.”

Coordination

Anita Flowers serves as Coordinator at Invested Faith, where she manages communications, operations, and relationships with Fellows across the country. Known as the organization’s “plate-spinner,” she keeps the many moving parts of Invested Faith in motion—facilitating conversations with potential Fellows, writing their stories, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. With a background in clinical psychology and business, Anita brings deep insight into what motivates people and how communities thrive. She holds degrees from Virginia Tech and Appalachian State University and is recognized for her thoughtful leadership, empathy, and organizational excellence. Her work reflects Invested Faith’s mission to connect faith-rooted innovation with the resources needed to build a more just and compassionate world.

Ku`ulei Williams brings over two decades of rich experience in the non-profit sector to her role of Efficiency at Invested Faith. As a seasoned professional in management and development, she has honed her skills in strategic planning, community engagement, and program management.
